Synthetic rubber (EPDM rubber + adhesive layer) EJ Tape
EJ Tape is an EPDM rubber tape laminated with a self-adhesive adhesive layer.
Simply peel off the release paper, join the tapes, and apply rolling pressure to adhere.
Developed to reinforce rubber sheets, EJ Tape has been used as a repair material for many metal roofs. It can be used on folded-plate roofs and other metal roofs where there is concern about watertightness, such as at joints and joints.
It can be used for watertightness in areas that conventionally tend to rely on sealants
Characteristics
Easy to install
The surface of the adherend is cleaned and treated, and adhesion is achieved simply by applying and rolling pressure.
- Clean the area to be covered by the tape by cleaning the area to be covered by the tape, and remove rust, floating, etc. (Note 1)
- Apply EJ tape to prevent air from entering the surface, and then apply rolling pressure.
- Apply finishing coat. (Note 2)
- (Note 1) Surface preparation agent may be required depending on the substrate conditions.
- (Note 2) Finish coatings can be prepared as required.
Stable finish
There is no need to worry about uneven application as with the adhesive method, and the prescribed adhesive thickness can be secured, ensuring stable adhesion and watertightness.
