CDP 2024 Supplier Engagement Assessment: “A-” Rating Achieved
2025/7/10
Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. (Head Office: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Hiroshi Ikeda) has received an “A−” score in the 2024 “Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA)” conducted by CDP※, an international nonprofit organization. This recognition underscores the high international standing of our company's efforts to address climate change within our supply chain.
The “Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA)” evaluates how effectively companies collaborate with their suppliers to manage climate change risks and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, assigning scores ranging from “A” to “D-”.
We are committed to reducing CO2 emissions across our entire supply chain, and we believe this effort has been recognized.
In particular, we received the highest rating of “A” in three categories: “Supplier Engagement”, “Risk Management Process”, and “Governance and Business Strategy”. We interpret this as high recognition of our efforts to enhance environmental awareness, and sustainable management throughout our supply chain.
Going forward, we will further strengthen our collaboration with suppliers to reduce our environmental impact and realize a sustainable society, while actively addressing global environmental issues.
