Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. (Head Office: Kobe City, Hyogo prefecture; President: Hiroshi Ikeda) has been selected as a constituent of both the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, two leading ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment indices. This marks the Company's third consecutive inclusion in the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and fourth consecutive inclusion in the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.

The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index, created by global index provider FTSE Russell, is designed to measure the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong environmental, social and governance practices. Companies included in the index satisfy a broad range of ESG criteria covering areas such as corporate governance, health and safety, anti-corruption and climate change.

The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index reflects the relative ESG performance of Japanese companies within each sector and is designed to remain sector-neutral. To support the transition to a low-carbon economy, companies with high greenhouse gas emissions are included only when their improvement efforts are recognized through the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) Management Quality Score.

Both indices have been adopted by Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), one of the world's largest public pension funds, as benchmarks for ESG investment and are widely used for the creation and evaluation of sustainable investment funds and financial products.
