Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, President: Hiroshi Ikeda) is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a score of “B” in Climate Change and “A-” in Water Security in the CDP2025.

CDP is a globally recognized non-profit organization that requests companies and municipalities to disclose information on their environmental initiatives, including climate change, water security, and forests. CDP evaluates these disclosures, and its scores are widely used by investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as a key indicator of corporate sustainability performance.

In CDP2025, we were comprehensively evaluated on its identification of water- and climate-related risks and opportunities within its business activities, as well as its strategies, targets, governance framework, and progress on initiatives. These efforts resulted in an “A-” score in Water Security and a “B” score in Climate Change.

We are working to address each ESG issue under the slogan "Contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society (enhance social and economic value)" in our FY2030 "Target Position". We have set KPI for Climate Change and Water Resources as one of the materialities, and are promoting initiatives such as the introduction of renewable energy and cooling water circulation systems.
