Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) has upgraded its Application Design Program for Belts which enables belt design studies to be performed on a personal computer. The "MEGA TORQUE GⅢ MTS8M" and "MEGA TORQUE EX Series" have been added to the existing timing belt series lineup. In addition, "MEGA TORQUE EP" and "MAXSTAR POWER EP-X" can now be selected when choosing a region other than Japan as the "belt availability region”. With the renewal upgrade, all series of timing belts can now be examined in the Application Design Program for Belts.

・In addition to belt size and number of belts required, proper tension is also calculated to help manage tension.
・Multi-axis layouts from 2 to a maximum of 20 axes are also supported.
・Units such as power and tension can be selected, eliminating the need for troublesome conversions.
・FREESPAN® belts can be designed from the application and can be examined according to the operation.
